1.1 This Agreement does not constitute a contract for the provision of vehicle rental services. Rental services will be provided under a separate rental agreement. You will also be subject to Free Rent's Standard Rental Agreement for eligibility to rent, including (but not limited to) possession of a valid driver's license, meeting minimum age requirements, and arrangements for payment of rental fees (including pre-authorization and credit checks, where applicable). You must meet all rental requirements at the time of vehicle pickup; meeting them only at the time of booking will not be sufficient.

1.2 For reservations, you authorize Free Rent to charge the full amount to your credit card as soon as you confirm the reservation.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t2. Terms and Conditions for Paid Reservations<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

2.1 By clicking the acceptance button during the booking process, you accept the terms and conditions and this Agreement with Free Rent. By entering into this Agreement, you agree to purchase a nominal value document ("Booking Confirmation") for the rate indicated by Free Rent, which will issue the Booking Confirmation and send it to you by email, reserving the Rental Services. You must exchange the Booking Confirmation for the Rental Services with Free Rent upon pickup of the vehicle.<\/p>

2.2 You must pay in full, at the time of booking on the website, the fees indicated for the voucher, which, when redeemed, entitles you to the rental services. The fees will be deducted from your credit or debit card at the time of booking. By accepting this agreement, you expressly authorize Free Rent to charge your card for the services and additional extras (if applicable) referred to in this Agreement.<\/p>

2.3 The purchased Booking Confirmation can be exchanged for the rental, including VAT, of the selected vehicle for the reserved dates, together with the items specified as included in the price at the time of booking, at the rates indicated by Free Rent.

2.4 All other optional equipment and services will incur additional charges, which must be paid directly to Free Rent at the time of pickup or return. Free Rent may also apply additional charges at the time of pickup if you are under 21 (Young Driver Fee), require Toll Service, purchase a fuel tank, or any deductible reduction or personal coverage.<\/p>

2.5 If you cancel your reservation on the same day it was made, no cancellation fee will be applied.

2.6 If you cancel up to 5 days before pick-up, you will receive a full refund less 40 euros, applied as compensation to Free Rent.

2.7 If you cancel less than 5 days before the indicated rental date, the full value of the voucher will be retained as compensation.

2.8 If you do not collect the vehicle and do not cancel, there will be no refund and the full value of the voucher will be retained as compensation.

2.9 To obtain a refund of the amount paid for the voucher (where applicable), you must write to the following address to request the refund:<\/p>

3.1 Subject to availability and the restrictions set out in clause 3.2 below, you may change your booking up to 24 hours before vehicle collection via the Call Center +351 961 829 346. Subject to the conditions below, you may use your voucher as payment for alternative services.<\/p>

3.2 Changes to the booking are subject to the following restrictions:
a) If you change a reservation and the charges for the Rental Services are higher than the face value of the voucher, you will be charged the difference at the current rates, with the additional amount (including taxes) being payable at the time of modification.
b) If the cost of the changed reservation is less than the nominal value of the voucher, NO refund will be made.<\/p>

Including, but not limited to, acts of God, terrorism, government action, war, civil commotion, insurrection, embargo or labor dispute, you will be entitled to reimbursement upon presentation of adequate evidence to the Local Supplier.<\/p>

    4.1 Premium Location Fee<\/strong> \u2013 When Free Rent operates in locations where third parties charge a fee or surcharge to provide services to customers at those locations. Information about this fee will be available on the website.

    4.2 Parking Ticket or Traffic Violation<\/strong> \u2013 If this occurs during your rental, in most cases, you will be contacted directly by the Local Authority to pay the fine. Free Rent will notify you if any charges are due on your behalf and will deduct them from your card or account. In both cases, an administrative fee of \u20ac30 plus VAT applies.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    5.1 When you rent a vehicle from Free Rent, the price indicated automatically includes mandatory Civil Liability Coverage in the event of an accident.
    5.2 Mandatory coverage is included unless you have previously contracted rates. If you have contracted rates, contact your company representative for coverage details.

    5.3 This basic cover includes: Legal Liability, Third Party Cover and Public Liability Cover.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/path><\/svg><\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t6. Vehicle Deductible<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t

    6.1 If the rental vehicle is damaged or stolen, mandatory coverage includes the cost of repair and\/or replacement. However, the renter will have to pay a fixed amount to cover these costs, known as the deductible, regardless of whether they were responsible or not.

    6.2 At the time of pick-up, Free Rent will retain a deductible amount on the driver's credit card to cover the excess. This amount will be released at the end of the rental period. The card will only be charged in the event of damage or additional charges. The time it takes for the amount to be re-available on the card depends on the card provider.

    6.3 The excess amounts vary depending on the vehicle group and will be displayed during the online booking process.
    6.4 You have the option to reduce the deductible or even choose protection without a deductible by purchasing one of these products with Free Rent.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    7.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions reduces your statutory rights in relation to refunds.

    7.2 Vehicle rentals are our responsibility, and we reserve the right to refuse rental to anyone. Free Rent operates a security system, and rentals will be subject to successful completion of this check.

    7.3 Payment Card<\/strong> \u2013 You must present a valid payment card when picking up the vehicle. Accepted cards are MasterCard, Visa debit, and credit cards. Please note that if you prepaid with a Visa Electron, prepaid, or debit card, you must present another valid card at pick-up. At pick-up, Free Rent will estimate the rental cost, deduct any payments already made, and request pre-authorization from the card issuer for this estimated amount. At the end of the rental, any additional charges (e.g., tolls or fuel cost differences) will be charged.

    7.4 Driving License<\/strong> \u2013 You must present a driver's license that has been valid for at least one year. (Check the terms and conditions of the rental country before booking.)

    7.5 Driver's Age<\/strong> \u2013 The minimum age to rent with Free Rent is 21 years old and you must have held your driver's license for at least one year.

    7.6 Additional Driver(s)<\/strong> \u2013 If a second driver is requested, they must be present at the time of pickup and present their original driver's license. An additional driver fee may apply.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
